Guess what I found out this week?? My companion Sister Walker (who is the BEST human ever) is my 5th cousin!! Not even removed or anything. Just another reason why we were meant to be companions:)
This week was a great one (but I mean, they all are am I right?:)) My district reached our halfway mark on Friday!!! In a short 4 weeks, we will be on a plane on our way to Korea!! So that’s crazy:)
The MTC food is slowly killing my insides, but it’s ok. Because other than the food, this place is the greatest!! I might even be sad to leave it (but Korea is cool too). There really is something so amazing about a places full of hundreds of young men and women (and some elderly couples too) who have put their entire lives on whole for 18-24 months to SERVE!! It’s awesome and everyone here is the greatest:) Also, every exercise time our zone plays volleyball, and I am basically a pro by now. Just thought I’d give ya an update on that.
This week we learned a lot about applying our lessons to our investigator’s lives. We are able to do SO much more as missionaries when we come to know and love our investigators. When we focus on them, we’re less focused on ourselves and on our Korean, and that is when the Gift of Tongues can really work in us.
Quote of the week: “Small acts of faith, even when they seem insignificant or entirely disconnected from the specific problems that vex us, bless us in all we do.”
Continue to perform small acts of faith every single day!! Read the Book of Mormon! Kneel down in sincere prayer! Seek answers to your questions! Pray for strength and the ability to endure! Turn outward and serve someone! I promise that these small acts of faith will be a blessing to you:)
I love you all!!! Thank you for all you emails and all your support!! It means more than you know:)
