Almost to my half-way mark!!

WOW this week flew by!!! On Tuesday, our teacher announced to our district that we were all to memorize the common core (400 Korean words/phrases) in 10 days. HA so it's been a hectic week, but it's truly been a week of miracles!! The language is slowly coming, and I have seen the Gift of Tongues working every single day this week.

My companion and I had an awesome experience in member TRC this week! We were teaching Brother Barnes, and at the end of the lesson, he asked, "If there is one thing that you KNOW, what would it be?" As we testified of what we knew, the spirit was SO strong. He started crying and we almost cried and it was just amazing! Testifying of truth, no matter the language, carries SO much power.

We also had another great lesson this week with our "investigator" Sister Yoon. During the lesson, I felt inspired to ask her the question "Do you feel God's love?" She told us that she didn't feel God's love, and she stopped praying because she felt like He had abandoned her. I STARTED CRYING. I expressed to her that her Heavenly Father loves her SO much and that He wants her so desperately to talk to Him. We then played the song "A Child's Prayer" in Korean. It's a great song. Everyone should go listen to it (even though you probably heard it a ton in primary, listen to it again). Anyways, this lesson made me realize that there are SO MANY PEOPLE in Korea who have not grown up with the knowledge of their Father in Heaven. It's something so simple that I've taken for granted, but many people I talk to won't have that knowledge. I can't wait to share that simple message with the amazing people of Korea!!!!

I love you all!! Heavenly Father is so aware of each of you and is in every single detail of your lives!!

Favorite quote from the week: "It's not the mission that changes someone. It's the teachings of Jesus Christ."

Have a fantastic week!! I love you all more than I love Kimchi!!!
